Severe Weather Protocol

Monitor weather alerts on your phone before and during every inspection. Set up NWS alerts for the inspection area.

If a tornado warning is issued, move immediately to the lowest interior room (bathroom, closet, or hallway) away from windows.

If a thunderstorm with lightning is nearby, do not perform exterior inspections, roof walks, or work near electrical panels.

In hurricane or tropical storm conditions, all inspections should be postponed. Contact the office for rescheduling.

If flooding occurs during an inspection, move to higher ground immediately. Do not drive through flooded roads.
